1. About VoltHub
VoltHub is an Irish-owned lead generation marketplace that connects homeowners with SEAI-certified electricians for EV charger installation. VoltHub acts as an intermediary only — we do not carry out installations, employ electricians, or provide electrical services directly.
These terms govern your use of the VoltHub website at www.volthub.ie and any associated services.
2. User Types
These terms apply to two types of users:
- Homeowners ("Customers"): Individuals seeking quotes for EV charger installation
- Installers ("Partners"): SEAI-certified electricians and electrical businesses seeking leads
3. For Customers — Requesting Quotes
3.1 Our role
VoltHub provides a free service to homeowners. By submitting a quote request, you authorise VoltHub to share your contact details and job requirements with up to 3 matched, SEAI-certified installers in your area.
3.2 No guarantee of quotes
While we endeavour to match every request, VoltHub cannot guarantee that you will receive quotes from installers in all cases, particularly in areas with limited coverage.
3.3 Installer relationships
Any contract for installation work is between you and the installer directly. VoltHub is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any installation work.
3.4 Grant information
Information about SEAI grants on this website is provided for guidance only. Grant eligibility, amounts, and terms are determined solely by SEAI. VoltHub accepts no liability for changes to grant schemes or unsuccessful grant applications.
4. For Installers — Joining the Network
4.1 Eligibility
To join the VoltHub installer network you must:
- Hold a valid SEAI registration as an approved EV charger installer
- Be registered with Safe Electric Ireland
- Hold valid public liability insurance (minimum €1,000,000 cover)
- Be a registered business or sole trader operating in Ireland
4.2 Accuracy of information
You warrant that all information provided in your application is accurate and up to date. You must notify VoltHub immediately of any changes to your credentials, insurance, or registration status.
4.3 Standards
By joining the VoltHub network you agree to:
- Respond to matched leads promptly and professionally
- Provide accurate, honest quotes to customers
- Carry out all work in compliance with Irish electrical regulations and SEAI requirements
- Maintain valid SEAI registration and insurance at all times
- Not contact customers for purposes other than the quoted installation job
4.4 Removal from network
VoltHub reserves the right to remove any installer from the network at any time if we have reason to believe they have breached these terms, received consistent poor feedback, or their credentials have lapsed.
